Chaos Giant of Nurgle

Legion Of The Damned Pumpkin

Halloween Special! Last year I've painted Crypt Horror Pumpkinheads. This year I present you Legion of the Damned Pumpkin for any Space Marine army. All minis from this squad have freehand chest ribs, skull on one shoulder and crossed bones on another, and some bone here and there. Many thanks to Pszemek, who has sculpted those beautiful pumpkins and did that Sergeant and Heavy Flamer conversion. They look really nice. And I'm very pleased how they turned out. On eBay soon. Huge Mangler Squig

This angry Tomato is a little old idea. Once upon a time, when the Orcs & Goblins Arachnarok model has been released I fugued out that you can make a big squig out of his abdomen. Those were time with no finecast and no original Mangler Squigs. So I bought another Arachnarok Spider and I cut his ass of. Then the whole project got on shelf. It's have been ripening there for years. Recently, Pszemek got his hands and some tool on that ass. He sculpted the face, legs and theeths. But while he was working on that ass, I got rest of Arachnarok model and sculpted something special. I'll show it to you soon. I can only add that my inspiration was Diablo, the game. After sculpting the Squig was a bit naked. So I've sculpted some mushrooms and added them to his back and on the base. Now the model was finished. Recently I've got a new idea to make glowing mushrooms since I love OSL on minis. But it has to wait for another Mangler model. This time it would be a balloon filled with helium.

Chaos Lord of Tzeentch

Do you remember Chaos Lord with hot metal weapon? Your suggestion was to make two more lords. Nurgle and Tzeentch one. I've finished the Nurgle Sorcerer Lord quite fast. Check it here.. Now I finished Tzeentch Lord. The model has been slightly converted, to give him more Tzeentch look. Pszemek has sculpted those beautiful feathers on his back. We swapped his weapon with horrors banner which can now act as standard or sorcerer's staff. And we used a head from forsaken box. I've painted this model in cool bluish fire of Tzeentch. You know, the warpflame does not burn in this edition ;). Let me know if you like it.

Nurgle Ogre

Third and unfortunately the last one closeup on those ogres. I forgot to take pictures of the standard bearer. I guess I need more caffeine. Anyway this is my favorite ogre. Great job on that guts, Pszemek!

Nurgle Ogres

As I mentioned this weekend will be dedicated to Nurgle. We did some more Nurgle Ogres. I've painted some Forge World models before. This time we took our sculptking tools on Iron Guts to mark them Nurgle. Pszemek did great job on sculpting those baubles and guts. Painting scheme similar to FW models as this is ment to be same unit. I'll upload some closeups on those models soon.

Nurgle Sorcerer Lord

Anoter attempt to this model. This time converted into Nurgle lord with scythe. The head is from Forsaken Box. Nurglings comes from some Daemons boxes. Backpack is an Ogre stuff. Scythe comes from Tyranid Lord's bonesword. Powers fist is from Space Wolves. Because of his final look, Nurglings, backpack with bones, book under his cape (instead of original sword) and a power fist in a gesture fo cast spells, I've decided to use him as a sorcerer rather than warrior lord. I'm about to finish another model of Chaos Lord. This time with mark of Tzeentch. Let me know how you like him.

Skaven Hell Pit Abomination

This Hell Pit Abomination was made before new model was released. It was based on skaven armybook graphic. It was my first attempt to make it, we have made more hell pit abominations in those times. The albino hell pit abomination and the worm like one if you remember. If you don't, please check skaven gallery. Although this was first idea it was painted last. The model so too much details and was hard to paint with all those arms and heads and then it was delayed by some commissioned models or other projects. But recently I'm trying to finish all models I started in long ago.

Chaos Forsaken

When new Forsaken models were released I get that idea to finish that unit we started some time ago. They were supposed to be chaos warriors with extra hand weapon back then, but with new rules they fit forsaken more. Mutants are easiest to make from almost any bits. Here are our Forsaken unit. Minis are for Pszemeks Chaos Warriors. We used many bits like old Chaos Warriors bodies, some Orc Arrer boyz bodies, plastic Spawn heads, Marauder arms and some mutated arms from old warriors mutation sprue. Hope you like the outcome. If you have your own conversions of forsaken, please share a link in comment section. Tomorrow some bigger chaos stuff.

Space Wolves Rune Priest

This is another Rune Priest in Runic Armor. I really think Warriors of Chaos armor suits Space Wolves well. I'll post more Space Wolves soon.

Chaos Battle Standard Bearer

I bet you recognize that model. 40k Chaos Lord from Dark Vengeance box is really great mini. With his possessed sword and chosen's head he look really bad ass. The banner was painted to match faces on warshrine I did previously.

Palanquin of Nurgle

I've has been asked to make a Palanquin of Nurgle for a new Nurge Lord mini, but that mini was on 40mm square base. Palanquin is mountedon 50mm base. That lives very little space for nurglings, but check out how I've solved the problem.

Chaos Lord of Khorne

Another mini with fire weapon effect. Soon you will see why I needed to practice this effect. The cape was sculpted by Pszemek.
